What is the Gartley Pattern?
The Gartley Pattern is named after H.M. Gartley. Gartley was a master technician from the U.S. and wrote a book in 1935 entitled "Profits in the stock market."

What was happening in the U.S. in 1935? The Great Depression. So you might think that writing a book on a subject as unpopular as stocks might not be such a great a idea. Even more unusual is the fact that Gartley wanted $1500 for a trading book in 1935. In todays dollars, that would have been enough to buy three cars!! Was Gartley crazy or was there a secret in this book that made it worth it's weight in gold? To lean more click
